The Oxford city escape got a little tedious towards the middle to end. The clues / tasks were somewhat misaligned with the reality of what was in front of us. The app drained my phone battery to the point that my phone died whilst playing the game, I was so disappointed! So, it is wise for more than one person to download the app just in case. This escape game is not for anyone who may need reasonable adjustments, who has poor stamina, who cannot walk or for long etc.
We are great fun doing the Escape Tour of Oxford. We didn't quite finish in time so were grateful of the 2 hour extension. We are 4 adults, but found some of the questions quite challenging. The instructions were easy to follow and the locations we went to were very pretty. All in all a pleasant way to spend the afternoon.
This is the third escape tour we have done and it is by far the worst. The story/narrative is really bad on every level. Yes, it takes you round Oxford, but gives little information on the stops you make and the clues are fairly basic. We were going to do it on my daughter's birthday. So pleased we didn't
Super leuke manier om de stad te zien met de kids (12 en 15 jaar). We vonden net te laat de uitgang, omdat we nog even in wat winkeltjes hadden staan kijken, maar als je dat niet doet is het goed haalbaar!

After an irritating time logging on and getting started, it was disappointing that our phone battery ran flat before we got to the end - were your graphics too energy consuming? We werent able to find out how our answers added up - didnt know how to access the rucksack - is that only when you complete?
The game was brilliant. It allowed us to explore the city and learn more interesting facts about the city despite already studying here. Will surely recommend to the others!
Not happy...at the first clue the text was not in English so we had to Google translate it. 3 or 4 other clues were wrong and the final clue was unreachable because of a closed off path...we were therefore unable to complete the activity even though we knew where the ending was
