About Escape Tour zutphen
With the Escape Tour , you’ll discover the city in a truly unique way as you travel back in time to the winter of 1572. This was the year Zutphen was liberated from the Spanish by William of Orange. During this Escape Tour, you will step into the shoes of the mercenary, Rowland.
The Spanish are desperate to reclaim the vital Hanseatic city of Zutphen, so they’ve managed to recruit Rowland to do their dirty work. Rowland will do anything for a price, and he is more than happy to let the Spanish troops slip through the city gates. This sparks total chaos, forcing Rowland to go on the run. He must find a way out of the city as quickly as possible before William of Orange catches up with him.
