In the year 714 A.D., Utrecht was startled by the sudden death of Anna van Asperen. Rumour had it that Francois, the left hand of king Radbod, had something to do with it. How was Francois going to solve this problem? He needed the bishop Willibrord, who after all had heard the last confessions of Anna and knew only too well what had happened.
Escape the city
Willibrord was terrified that Francois would implicate him and goes on the run. Within 2 hours he has to be out of the city and that is only possible through the secret exit.
