About Escape Tour straatsburg

Frau Troffea was an inconspicuous presence in Strasbourg. Since she was 17, she had worked as a waitress in the city's most important inn, where mainly merchants and nobility could be found. Every evening there was much partying and drinking. Troffea could often be found dancing on the bar and ending up in the bed of one of the guests.

In 1518 Troffea decided to change course and think more about herself. Dancing, she was good at. And before she knew it, she was dancing in the middle of the centre. It was not long before people started to join her. It became a real folk festival that lasted for months, to the displeasure of the city authorities. People who dance non-stop should be locked up in the madhouse. That was the sign for Troffea to flee the city!

Escape the city

Just like Troffea, you go in search of Strasbourg's secret exit. The citygame takes you through narrow streets and hidden passages along the most beautiful spots of the city. You have 2 hours to unravel the mystery. Will you make it in time? Then the reward is a place on the coveted Wall of Fame. The Escape Tour Strasbourg starts at the statue of Charles Adolphe Wurtz, good luck!
