About Escape Tour straatsburg
Frau Troffea was an unremarkable presence in Strasbourg. Since she was 17, she had worked as a waitress in the city's main inn, where mostly merchants and nobility could be found. Every evening there was considerable partying and drinking. Troffea could therefore often be found dancing on the bar, ending up in the bed of one of the guests.
In 1518, Troffea decided to change course and think more about herself. Dancing, she was good at that. And before she knew it, she was standing in the middle of downtown doing swaying moves. It wasn't long before people started joining her. It became a veritable folk festival that ended up lasting for months, much to the dismay of the city government. People dancing nonstop should be locked up in the madhouse. That was the sign for Troffea to flee the city!
