In the 16th century, Sweden, Norway and Denmark formed the Union of Kalmar. The Danes dominate the union and King Christian II of Denmark rules with an iron fist. The Scandinavians live in fear. Rumour has it that Sweden wants to break away from the union and continue as a free country.
The Swedish people hope that Gustav Vasa can make the country independent. He has just arrived in the port of Stockholm to deliver a very important message. Unfortunately, the Danes are already aware of his arrival. King Christian II and his soldiers now have only one goal: to find Gustav Vasa, dead or alive....
