About Escape Tour sneek
With the Escape Tour , you dive into the life of Douwe Egberts, the grocer from Joure who transformed coffee culture in Friesland around 1765. The aroma of his new coffee spreads through Sneek and attracts more and more customers. This does not sit well with Meindert Molen, the jealous guild master. When Douwe finds a burnt coffee sack containing a threatening message, he knows he is no longer safe and must flee.
Throughout Sneek, Meindert's henchmen begin to appear. Douwe hears stories about a secret exit from the city and decides to search for it. During his journey, he follows clues, learns more about the coffee guild, and discovers that he receives unexpected help from Bauke, Meindert's son. Whether this will be enough to escape is up to you to prove.
