Welcome to Potsdam! Step into the shoes of Friedrich, a prince who has lost his heart to poetry and the French language. A huge disappointment for his father, soldier king Frederick William I, who would rather see his son marching, handling weapons and drinking beer. The relationship between father and son has been on edge for some time and explodes when the king gets wind of Friedrich's plan....
Indeed, along with his close friends Hans and Peter, the prince plans to flee to England. The king is furious and Friedrich is put under house arrest for life.
