It was May 26, 1828. In the streets of Nuremberg, a teenager wandered about. Walking and talking did not go well for him, but the shriveled bill in his hand told him it was Kaspar Hauser. It didn't take long for a professor to take care of him. He discovered that Kaspar was a clever boy with exceptional talents. The people of Nuremberg found it only interesting, and the boy was soon known as the "Living Legend" and "Child of Europe.
The stories circulating about Kaspar were getting more and more intense. He was said to be an impostor, a fantasist, and also an illegitimate child of the House of Baden.
