About Escape Tour naarden

In the year 1572, it was the Beggars who held power in the important fortified town of Naarden. The Spanish Don Frederik had hatched a plan and invited about 400 Beggars to his home. After an hour of pleasant feasting, an army of Spanish Musketeers stormed into the house and killed almost all the Beggars present. With the Escape Tour Naarden dive into this extraordinary story.


When the Geuzen hear of the massacre in Naarden, they are furious; they want to catch Don Frederik as soon as possible. Don Frederik must therefore flee for his life. He must get out of the city as quickly as possible, but how? He once heard something about a secret exit and quickly goes in search of it.

Escape the City

On the basis of this city game, you will visit the nicest places in Naarden and, just like Don Frederik, try to find the secret exit within two hours. You can do this by cracking all the codes, solving riddles and deciphering clues. Do you do this well? Then perhaps you will earn a place on the Wall of Fame!
