In 1572, the Geuzen held power in the fortified city of Naarden. The Spanish commander Don Frederik had a plan. He invited around 400 Geuzen to his home for what seemed like a feast. But after an hour of drinking and laughter, Spanish musketeers stormed in and slaughtered nearly everyone. With the Escape Tour Naarden, you'll relive this dramatic story.
When the surviving Beggars heard of the massacre, they were furious and wanted revenge. Don Frederik had no choice but to flee for his life. He needed to leave the city as fast as possible, but how? He had once heard about a secret exit and set out to find it.
