About Escape Tour maagdenburg
With the Escape Tour Magdeburg, you'll travel back to the year 942. Otto I, King of Magdeburg, was married to Editha of Wessex from England. Otto had the magnificent Magdeburg Cathedral built in 937, secretly adding a small chamber so he could eavesdrop on confessions. One day, he overheard something terrifying: his own brother Henry was plotting against him.
Otto quickly gathered his army to defend the city, but Henry and his rebels were already marching toward Magdeburg. Now Otto had to escape with Editha before it was too late. Somewhere in the city, there was said to be a secret exit... but where?

Just like Otto, you have only two hours to find the secret exit! Solve riddles, answer questions, and stay alert as you explore the highlights of Magdeburg. If you manage to escape in time, you'll earn a spot on the Wall of Fame. The city game starts at Rathaus der Landeshauptstadt. Good luck!
