About Escape Tour lyon

Camille Pernon was rond 1800 een beroemde zijdewever en handelaar in Lyon. De rijke inwoners van de stad waren groot fan van hem en kochten massaal prachtige zijde en brokaat in. De goede verhalen over Camilles handelswaar bereikten ook Napoleon. Toen de keizer in 1806 naar Lyon kwam kon een bezoekje aan het atelier van Camille dan ook niet ontbreken.


Napoleon placed a mega order for silk fabrics for his imperial palaces. "The colours will remain bright and fresh for hundreds of years," Camille had said. The Emperor was therefore furious when he found out that the colour pigments were fading after only a short time. The silk weaver had to get out of Lyon. He had heard on the market that the city had a secret exit. Would he be able to find it in time?
