About Escape Tour london
Our setting is London, in 1647 and at the height of the English Civil War. One of the most notorious English ladies of this era is Mary Frith, who is famous for her fleet-fingered robberies. Using a razor-sharp knife, she snips the strings off people’s purses to nick their contents: a practice that earned her the apt nickname ‘Moll Cutpurse’. Unfortunately for Mary, though, she has just robbed the wrong person....
General Fairfax is Mary's most recent victim. In addition to an empty wallet, the General has a gunshot wound in his arm. He orders his men to search for Mary. Will Mary manage to flee London unseen? She has heard plenty of rumours about a secret exit, but the exact location is still unknown to her. Will she be able to stay out of the hands of Fairfax's men?
