Amália has been sending ardent love letters to exiled former dictator António de Oliveira Salazar for some time. Because of this contact, she is suspected of being part of Salazar's dreaded secret service. Amália decides not to await her fate and to flee Lisbon. Because of the aftermath of the revolution, she cannot simply walk out of the city. The singer knows there is a secret exit somewhere. Will she manage to find that exit in time?
