About Escape Tour lille
Step into the shoes of Paul Gachet, a doctor in Lille who in 1870 was appointed chief physician of the military hospital Saint-Martin. Later that year Paul inherited his parents' estate and decided to pursue his true passion: art. In exchange for free medical care, he received all kinds of different artworks.â
That is how he also came into contact with Vincent van Gogh. Vincent had only seventy days left to live, and Paul had to help him. Paul was willing, but only in exchange for a self-portrait. When Vincent eventually passed away, Paul seized his chance. He stole several of his works. This turned out to be costly, as he was caught and had to flee for his life. The chances of leaving Lille alive were almost zero....

While doing so, this city game will take you past the most charming and hidden spots of Lille! Will you find the exit within two hours? Then you might earn yourself a place on the Wall of Fame!
