About Escape Tour lille
Step into the shoes of Paul Gachet, a physician in Lille (Lille) who was appointed chief physician of the Saint-Martin military hospital in 1870. Later that year, Paul received his parents' inheritance and decided to pursue his real dream: art. In exchange for free care, he received all sorts of different works of art.
This is also how he ends up with Vincent van Gogh; Vincent has only 70 days to live and Paul must help him. Paul is willing to do so, but only in exchange for a self-portrait. When Vincent does die, Paul seizes his chance. He steals some of his works. He was caught and had to flee for his life. The chances of him leaving Lille alive are nil....
