Simon struck his biggest blow against a Portuguese fleet in the year 1611. He took all the stolen goods with him to Ibiza town where he sold everything in his shops. Because of his fame on the island, the Portuguese found out where Simon could be found. Because the Dutch pirate was tipped off by the governor, he had just enough time to escape via the secret exit...
