Father Thijs, now known as Flat Thijs, walks the streets of Hoorn as inconspicuously as possible. That is a challenge when you are missing a characteristic part of your face. He is quite conspicuous without a nose... Thijs is seen among the population as the Dutch Robin Hood. He fights for the poor by stealing from the rich. Earlier in the day, Thijs was captured after a robbery, but it was not without a fight....


A court servant cut off Thijs' nose with one powerful sword stroke. Determined to continue his mission, Flat Thijs gathers all his strength and escapes from his cell. Now he must flee the city as quickly as possible without any of his enemies raising the alarm. During his robberies, he has heard rumors of a secret exit from the city. Will he manage to find this hidden place in time?
