Welcome to the Hasselt of 1476! Peregrinus of Barmentloe is much loved by the inhabitants of the Hanseatic city because of his vast knowledge. Recently Peregrinus has a new hobby, the art of printing books. The elite of Hasselt fear the technology and foresee major problems. They should not think of the common people reading. After all, knowledge is power! It is soon clear: Peregrinus must be locked up....
But Peregrinus does not allow himself to be stopped and in the meantime has produced his first book. The elite also get wind of this and the hunt for the printer is opened.
