About Escape Tour
In 1613, Lange Aele and her daughter Anne are locked up in the dungeons beneath the old town hall in Groenlo. The air is cold, damp, and heavy with fear. They are accused of witchcraft and know that their fate is almost sealed. But then, in the middle of the night, there is a soft scratching sound at the lock. A key turns, a door creaks open… this is their chance!
With trembling hands and bloodied fingers, Aele and Anne manage to escape from their cell. The dark corridors lead them outside, into the night. For a brief moment, Groenlo seems quiet, but it doesn’t last long. As soon as the guards discover the empty cell, the gates slam shut and the manhunt begins. There are whispers of a secret exit from the city. Will Aele and Anne be able to find it in time?

During the Escape Tour , you’ll follow in the footsteps of Lange Aele and Anne. With your smartphone in hand, you’ll wander through the city, solve puzzles, and follow cryptic clues.
