In 1975, apprentice Johann Georg Lahner began his apprenticeship with Frankfurt's best butcher with great pleasure. After he tasted Frankfurt's best sausage for the first time, a world opened up for him. The ingredients were a well-kept family secret, but he went to great lengths to find out!
