About Escape Tour florence

In the 15th century, the influential De' Medici family is in power in Florence. Besides trading and hard work, the family is a great lover of art and sponsors many artists. Grandson Lorenzo I de' Medici even went so far as to allow sculptor and painter Michelangelo Buonarotti to live and work in his house.

On 8 April 1492, Lorenzo breathed his last in the presence of the Dominican monk and Lorenzo's protégé Girolamo Savonarola. And so the glorification of artists came to an end. For Savonarola starts a real witch hunt against everything that has to do with art. Michelangelo, too, is no longer sure of himself... The artist remembers Lorenzo once talking about a secret exit. But where was it again?

Escape the city

This is where Escape Tour Florence starts. You are going to help Michelangelo with his search for the secret exit. The citygame is full of fun assignments, challenging riddles and cryptic clues. And in the meantime you will pass by the most beautiful places in the city. Will you manage to escape within 2 hours? You start at Piazza Santa Maria Novella, good luck!
