About Escape Tour evora
In 1275, the Moors were defeated by the king of Portugal, Alfons III. But in Évora, the monks gained more and more power. When the monks even set up their own army, Alfons had had enough. Dinis, the king's son, was sent to the city to bring order.
The monks, of course, were not happy about this and devised a cunning plan to get the prince out of town. They knew that Dinis loathed anything to do with death, so they dug up some bones and turned them back into skeletons. In the dead of night, they thus gave Dinis the fright of his life. The prince did not hesitate for a moment and got away. At least, that was the intention...
Escape the city
With the Escape Tour Évora you will dive into the story of Dinis. Just like the prince, you will try to leave the city unseen through the secret exit. During the search you will pass by the most beautiful places in the city and riddles, assignments and clues will appear on your smartphone.
