Hendrik Driessen is a smuggler from Enschede who has been smuggling shag and cigarettes in the frame of his bicycle across the border from Germany since he was 15 years old. And often it didn't stop at the harmless tobacco....


With the Escape Tour Enschede you dive into the story of Hendrik who could very easily eavesdrop on German soldiers from his café. Using all his knowledge, he plans to smuggle Jews out of Enschede. Until the Germans find out! He has to flee for his life, and that can only be done through Enschede's secret exit.
