Eindhoven and the Philips family are forever linked. That is once again clear from the story of the Escape Tour Eindhoven. During the Escape Tour, you will step into the shoes of Benjamin, the nephew of Frits Philips. In the Second World War, he had the crucial task of delivering an advanced listening device (or bugging transmitter) outside the city, without the Germans finding out.
Over the years, Frits had constructed underground tunnels, and you could leave the city unnoticed via these tunnels. However, this was only known to a select few. None of them were present, so Benjamin had to search for the exit using only Frits' jumbled notes. During the Escape Tour Eindhoven, you will follow in the footsteps of Benjamin, the unknown hero of Eindhoven.
