About Escape Tour brielle

Brielle, a cozy fortified town in South Holland with a rich history! With the Escape Tour Brielle you will find out how the Protestant Geuzen fleet once defeated the Spaniards here and raised the familiar Dutch flag again. This did not happen without a struggle, and for some it had major consequences....

When Lumey and his Geuzen fleet were on their way to Enkhuizen, a storm brought them to Brielle. This was not his plan, but it worked out very well. Here the Spaniards were undermanned and so they could easily take the town. The Catholic priests and religious had to make way for the Protestant. Lumey went on a killing spree, which angered William of Orange. And he had so much influence that Lumey was forced to flee!

Escape the city

With the Escape Tour Brielle you crawl in the skin of Lumey. By completing various assignments, deciphering clues and cracking codes you will try to find the secret exit of Brielle within 2 hours. While doing this you will pass by the nicest spots of Brielle! The search starts at the Bastion IX, good luck!
