About Escape Tour athens
We take a dive back in time to the year 117 AD. With the Escape Tour Athens, you will get a glimpse into the life of Emperor Hadrian. Known as the man with the beard, this emperor was the hipster among emperors at the time. That beard was his trademark, but did not always bring him much good....
Hadrian was very attached to his beard and therefore was cut every day by the barber Abdias. Because Hadrian dealt with his barber so much, the bond of trust grew. Abdias even got a say in several major issues such as tax increases, strategies and exterminations within the Senate. The inhabitants got wind of this and organized a manhunt for the barber. During the search, he suddenly disappeared and was never seen again in Athens.
Escape the city
The emperor had helped his barber by taking him to the secret exit. With the Escape Tour you will search for this secret exit.
