About Escape Tour axes
It is dinner time in Assen and the Bartels family is sitting at the table. Father works hard, but the family has little to spend. Every morning the seven children eat bread with margarine and in the evening they get brown beans. Son Bartje is all done with it. He dreams of cream pie and fries. Just as father Bartels wants to start the prayer, Bartje angrily shouts, "I'm not praying veur brune boon!
Father Bartels becomes furious and takes Bartje outside by his ear. "Just find another mom and dad if you want something else to eat!" says father spitefully. And now Bartje is out on the street. He has to look for new parents, but preferably outside the city. Bartje has read in an old book that Assen has a secret exit. He must find it!
Escape the City
This is where the Escape Tour Assen starts. Step into the shoes of the stubborn Bartje and search for the secret exit. You will find the exit by solving all riddles, deciphering clues and completing assignments. Will you do it within 2 hours? Then you deserve a spot on the Wall of Fame of Assen. The search starts at the station, good luck!
