About Escape Tour aken

On a warm summer evening in 792, Pepin enjoys the last rays of the sun in Aachen. Charlemagne's bastard son can forget about the reign after the birth of his half-brother. And he is not happy about that, to put it mildly. Time to take action, time for a coup against his father's empire!


It has taken years of preparation, but Pepin is all set. Together with Johan and Louis, two disgruntled nobles, he has recruited a large group of gritty but determined citizens as front-line soldiers. But what's that? No, they have been betrayed! Pepin sees his coup go up in smoke and the death penalty beckons. The trio flees in blind panic through the streets of Aachen in search of the secret exit!
