York, 1605. Protestants and Catholics in England have been at odds for years. But the Catholics are forging a grand plan: the "Gunpowder Plot. They want to blow up the parliament building with the Protestant King James I in it. Then he can be nicely replaced by a Catholic monarch. Guy Fawkes gladly cooperates with this master plan and helps smuggle the gunpowder inside. Everything progresses steadily, until Guy is caught by a servant....
Guy takes no chances and puts the servant down. But the servant has made so much noise that attention has already been drawn. The whole plan falls apart! Guy has to get out of there, because he doesn't want to end up in jail! During the preparations, there is also talk of a secret exit. That is his only salvation... But where is this exit?
