On a cold evening in 1719, Princess Maria Clementina Sobieska is imprisoned in the Hofburg in Innsbruck. The daughter of the Polish king is engaged to James Stuart, the Scottish pretender to the throne. Emperor Charles VI wants to prevent that marriage at all costs and has therefore had her imprisoned. But Clementina will not simply allow herself to be used as a pawn in a political game. Time to take action, time to escape!
